Africa Day NYC Celebration

We have already begun planning our week-long celebration throughout NYC in May 2021.

WELCOME TO THE AFRICA DAY WEBSITE

Thank you to our all speakers who participated in our Africa Day NYC 2020 virtual celebration. We look forward to celebrating Africa Day NYC 2021. We are planning a week-long celebration with events throughout New York City. Stay Tuned.

Africa Day is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the African Union (formerly known as Organization of African Unity) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on May 25, 1963.

The purpose of Africa Day NYC is to celebrate African unity, the diversity of Africa, our cultures, and the potential of our people on the continent and throughout the diaspora.

We are Proudly African.
